Інтеграція держав Еллади та Понту Евксинського до складу Римської Республіки (III–II ст. до Р. Х.)

Стаття присвячена дослідженню становлення римської гегемонії у контексті воєн III–II ст. до Р.Х. на території Еллади та Понту Евксинського (Причорномор’я). Прослідковуючи процес трансформації Римської республіки з регіональної сили на імперію, особлива увага приділяється процесам інтеграції держав Еллади та Понту Евксинського, які відрізняються від інтеграційних процесів щодо варварських суспільств Італії та Іберії. Дослідження відбувається через призму концепції М. Манна «Імперія домінування». Виділено три етапи інтеграції: партнерство/союзництво, встановлення клієнтських відносин та пряма інтеграція через перетворення на римську провінцію. Розглядається також вплив унікальних практик, що були запроваджені під час інтеграції як-от «свобода греків», романізація через практики взяття заручників місцевих еліт, що ілюструє гнучкість римської інтеграційної політики. Наголошується, що процес інтеграції греків відбувалася шляхом військової, дипломатичної та економічної гегемонії, що забезпечило безальтернативність їхньої інтеграції.
This article is dedicated to researching the formation of Roman hegemony in the context of the wars of the 3rd – 2nd centuries BC in the territories of Hellas and Pontus Euxinus (Black Sea region). Tracing the process of transformation of the Roman Republic from a regional power into an empire, special attention is paid to the integration processes of the states of Hellas and Pontus Euxinus, which differ from the integration processes concerning the barbarian societies of Italy and Iberia. The research is conducted through the prism of M. Mann's concept of "empire of domination." Three stages of integration are identified: partnership/alliance, the establishment of client relationships, and direct integration through transformation into a Roman province. The influence of unique practices introduced during integration, such as the "freedom of the Greeks" and Romanization through the practice of taking hostages from local elites, illustrating the flexibility of Roman integration policy, is also considered. It is emphasized that the integration of the Greeks occurred through military, diplomatic, and economic hegemony, which ensured the inevitability of the integration course.
